Does anyone know if Adobe illustrator CS6 is compatible with Mountain Lion ?

I was interested in purchasing this product. When I read the OS requirments, it says OS X 10.6 and later. I've also read that some individuals cannot open Adobe Illustrator CS6 for reasons that it is the wrong Java program.

Has anyone expereinced this, if so, what should I do ?
